Jesus Made You to Build the Boat | Shannon O’Dell

In Matthew 24, standing on the Mount of Olives, Jesus reaches back thousands of years and tells one more boat story — the days of Noah. A boat the size of a football field and a half. A door open for decades. And a world that walked right past it without changing a thing.

This week in the Summer Boat Parade, we're asking a question that goes deeper than "am I saved?" — it's "what am I doing with the boat?" Because Jesus didn't just save you from something. He saved you for something.

We'll look at how you know you're on mission: loving God supremely, trusting Him completely, obeying Him wholeheartedly, praising Him continually, and using your life willingly. And we'll walk through the questions that tell you you're building the right boat — does it agree with God's Word, does it make you more like Jesus, does your church family confirm it, and is it consistent with how God shaped you?
